I’ve found a very interesting survey which presents the most used ASP.NET Ajax frameworks. The results can be found here. It seems that jquery and ASP.NET Ajax are the most used ajax frameworks.
The 4th place is taken by Telerik – which becomes the most commercial ajax framework used. This proves that indeed the guys from Telerik are good. I wonder how the statistics would look like if jquery and ASP.NET ajax were not free

| jQuery | 13,3% | 71,4% | 58,1% |
| AJAX Control Toolkit | 49,6% | 58,8% | 9,2% |

Well, congratulations again to UE community for their decisions. After the antitrust law was applied to Microsoft by UE, the company decided to respect the UE decision and sell Windows 7 without IE…BUT at a bigger price.
The prices will be 41% to 100% more than in USA. The price for a Windows Home Premium license will be E119.99 in Europe Union and $132.14 in USA.
More information can be found here.

Microsoft made the announcement on its Windows Live blog.
They decided to retire MSN Web Messenger and keep the new web-based instant messaging (IM) now available in Windows Live Hotmail worldwide.
The site will go offline June 30.

Everyone knows that Michael Jackson has died. The biggest question I have is WHO is going take his place. Answer: NOBODY. We are loosing very good artists day by day without having the possibility to replace them in the near future.
I’ve just read a good report made by Steve Baldwin, an analyst at DidIt , a search-engine marketing firm in New York. The report, How Well Did Search Engines React to Michael Jackson’s Death describes how the search engines reacted to Michael Jackson’s death. The results are indeed very interesting. Around the launch of Bing, members of the Typophile forums had a good time picking apart the logo design of Microsoft’s new search engine.
The logo was designed by Razorfish in Portland, Ore. Razorfish is owned by Microsoft.
There has been considerable negative response to the Bing logo. But keep in mind this is the Internet, where skeptics and curmudgeons go to play.
